In the morning, a lone figure was walking through the streets of Toronto. It was raining so barely anyone was outside and in a city as big as Toronto, you're bound to get lost at least once. The figure was determined not to get lost this time, the purple rings on her head, body and clothes glowing brightly.

She was named Jennifer. She's an Umbreon friend of the Riolu Sisters and surprisingly, she had the same ability and neck stump as Keira. Being able to walk on two legs and wear clothes was a satisfying part of her that separates her from most Umbreons. However, due to the ability she has, she has a shy look on her face walking from house to house to find where the Riolu Sisters live.

"This map is good but I still can't find their house yet..." Jennifer muttered, she was given a map by one of the citizens of the city but she still wasn't fully able to find her way without getting lost.

After about what seemed forever to her even though it was only two hours, she finally cam up to the house she was looking for. Smiling in relief, she walked up to the door and knocked on it while wondering if she arrived too early. After a minute Keira opened the door but her head wasn't attached.

"Hi Keira," Jennifer greeted the headless body of her friend. She doesn't know why but seeing Keira without her head makes the purple-ringed feel somewhat better about removing her own head.

After coming inside, Jennifer hung up her hood in the hallway closet. The hood was soaked but it also had a cloak on it too so the Umbreon wasn't as soaked as her hood was. Coming into the living room, Keira's head could be seen on a pillow on the couch.

"Hi Jennifer. It's good to see you," Keira said, giving her friend a proper greeting. "You may want to be quiet for a bit, my sister's still asleep."

Jennifer looked at the door to Sara's room, it was closed and with her great hearing the Umbreon could hear Sara's soft snoring from the room. "Okay, but wow is it ever coming down hard outside."

Keira made a face. It was a known fact that Riolus are dog-like Pokemon and while both the sisters hated the rain, Keira could not stand being outside while it was raining. "Yeah...hey, let's just play a game now," the Riolu head replied, determined not to talk about the rain.

Jennifer nodded in reply. Keira and Sara owned a Wii and there were several games the two could play. Keira's body made it's way through the game shelf and pulled out Mario Kart Wii. Keira enjoyed racing and fighting games and she knew Jennifer could easily play Mario Kart Wii the best of any of her other opponents.

After about an hour and a half of racing Sara woke up finally and entered the main room, seeing Jennifer sitting beside Keira's body. Smiling, the older Riolu went to make breakfast for the three of them. Jennifer and Keira both knew Sara was awake but they were too concentrated on their game to talk to her until Sara finished making breakfast.

The three sat around the table. Keira (with her head back on) wanted to talk to Jennifer but Sara was the one to talk first. "So, Jennifer? I trust you didn't have much trouble getting here this time?" the older sister said.

Jennifer was unsure of her answer. The first time she came to Toronto, she got lost very quickly and ended up being a punching bag for a gang of bad Pokemon. Luckily for the Umbreon, Keira and a blue Jolteon saved her while Sara patched up her wounds later on. This time around, Jennifer had a map but with the rain and getting lost before getting the map, she didn't know if this time was better than last time. "It was okay I guess. I don't think it was better though," the Umbreon finally replied.

*******

At around 10:30, the rain stopped and the three Pokemon went outside. Jennifer was with Keira and they went to a Training Gym. Keira was not fond of real-life battles. Her physical strength and speed were not a problem, it was her Aura because it was digital Aura which made it green and weak. However, there were uses for it which made Keira a little happy about. Jennifer on the other hand isn't as sturdy as Keira and the younger Riolu was worried about that.

She watched her Umbreon friend fight some training instructors. Jennifer has gotten stronger since she got beaten by the gang. She was able to control her Dark Pulse and actually mold it into weapons. She had no trouble fighting two instructors but the third one, a yellow and green Lucario, could easily defeat Jennifer. Jennifer didn't know yet how to deal with Pokemon stronger than her with the type advantage and that led to her loss.

After the battle ended the Lucario helped Jennifer up from the ground. "You've gotten a lot better but you still need to learn how to deal with opponents you're weak to," he said.

"Yeah, I know. I'm not the best fighter but I try, Kyori." Jennifer replied. Kyori and Jennifer were really good friends despite Kyori always beating her in battle. That is why Kyori opened the Training Gym, to help Pokemon like Jennifer get stronger and learn what he knows about battles.

"Well, if you want to try again, we can." Kyori offered. Jennifer was about to say something but before she could the doors slammed open.

A Grovile came into the building was walked up to Kyori. "Move aside, lady," he said, pushing Jennifer out of the way. Doing so, she fell off the arena and on the ground floor painfully. Kyori was not happy with that.

"May I help you?" the Lucario said coldly.

"Yeah, you can fight me right now." The Grovile remarked in a snarly tone.

"I'm sorry but I'm already training someone at the moment." Kyori said, pointing to Jennifer.

The Grovile smirked at this. "That Umbreon? Ha! She can't even keep her balance which means she's a complete waste of time." He laughed mockingly afterwards while Kyori growled slightly.

"You better watch your mouth, punk. She happens to be my friend and I don't take insults towards her lightly." The Lucario was angry at this point.

"I don't care if she's your sister. She's worthless and a waste of time. She doesn't even deserve to even be in this world and she doesn't deserve to have any friends." That remark hit Jennifer hard. She looked down at the ground, tears coming down her cheeks. Keira was furious at this and so was Kyori.

"I think you should leave. Right now." Kyori said icily, having just about enough of the Grovile's rude behavior.

"Make me you soft excuse for a Steel-type!" That was the last straw. Everyone who heard that remark glared at the Grovile, Keira walked up onto the arena as she could no longer tolerate this.

"I've had just about enough. If you want a fight, you'll get one," Kyori said, pointing to Keira. "And the Riolu behind you there will be your opponent."

The Grovile turned to face Keira and scoffed. "This is the best you have? You've got no guts you lime idiot."

Keira growled at this. "No, he just doesn't want to waste his time kicking your butt in only a few minutes."

The Grovile was angry and looked straight at Keira. "Oh, when I win this, you're going to wish you never said that." he said, ready to fight her.

Keira stood still, ready to show that you don't mess with anyone the younger sister respects, not even her best friend.
This is part 2 of the story. Sara isn't in this part much but she'll be seen more in later parts. The Training Gym was actually just an idea I had where Pokemon can train to be stronger. It's also the scene for the first fight of the story which will take place in part 3.

Don't worry, this part and the next part won't be the last you see of Kyori, Jennifer and the yet-to-be-named Grovile. They'll be back in other parts too. And that blue Jolteon will be in the story somewhere. Not telling you when he'll be in the story though. :iconf3plz:

Oh and about the Wii and Mario Kart Wii idea, that actually came from reading some VG Cats comics and VG Cats fanfiction. Plus I use the Wii and play the game too.

Keira, Sara, Jennifer, Blue Jolteon and Kyori are (c) :iconfireraopsa2010:
Riolu, Umbreon, Lucario, Jolteon and Grovile are (c) Nintendo, the Pokemon Company, Game Freak
Wii and Mario Kart Wii are (c) Nintendo
